Biography

Dr. Seungmin Rho is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of computer science and information technology. He began his academic journey at Ajou University, Suwon, South Korea, where he earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science in 2001. His commitment to advancing his knowledge led him to further pursue his studies at the same institution, obtaining both his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in information and communication technology in 2003 and 2008, respectively.

Currently, Dr. Rho serves as a faculty member in the Department of Industrial Security at Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea. His research interests are diverse and cover a range of cutting-edge topics in the realm of computing and technology. These include database management, big data analysis, music retrieval, multimedia systems, machine learning, knowledge management, and computational intelligence.

Dr. Rho's contributions to these fields are substantial. He has published over 180 articles in well-respected, refereed journals and conference proceedings, demonstrating his prolific nature and expertise in these areas.
